Evelyn Rodriguez is currently the Drug Free Communities Coordinator for the Lawrence/Methuen Community Coalition in Lawrence, Massachusetts. She is a 20-year veteran of the human service field, having worked in the area of prevention for the last nearly seven years. In her current role, she has successfully created and integrated a youth leadership prevention development program based out of the local high school. For her efforts, she has received two awards for her design and execution of a youth-led tobacco prevention chapter that began in 2016 and mostly recently, she received the Statewide Adult Advisor of the Year at the National Kick Butts Day held at our Statehouse every year for 2021. Evelyn, who was born and raised in Lawrence and Methuen, graduated from Northern Essex Community College in May 2015 with high honors. She recently completed a certificate in Nonprofit Management and Leadership from the Institute for Nonprofit Practice and the Jonathan M. Tisch College of Civic
Life at Tufts University. She is currently pursuing her bachelor’s & master’s degree in Youth Development at IDEA.
